Introduction	NuJoy- a nickname my husband gave me while we were dating 5 years ago. I have always decided that NuJoy would be a name I would use if I made it big in music or needed a stage name for some reason..random, I know. In my journal you will find "NuJoy" dootled all over with designs. Through a series of conversations with my husband, friends, a few professioals, and searching online, I have come to the conclusion that this is my passion- invisioning and bringing to life a space that is functional, organized, and fun so that the space can be used to build relationships. For a little while I tried to convice myself that I couldn't do it...it just wasn't the right time. I think I was just scared that I don't have a degree in the field, and that I don't know enough. But honestly, when I wake up in the morning I have ideas popping in my head, and patterns and designs fill my mind throughout the day. My journal is filled with cut-outs from magazines of ideas on what I would do with a room, and layout plans if I could ever have complete control of redesigning a space. So, this is it. It's go time. It's time to dive in and Design.
