Introduction	Something surprises me every day, and this is good. I like to be busy so that I can wish that I wasn't. I like to have a routine so that I can rebel against it occasionally. My life is full of wonderful people - far and near. Some of the best times to be had are spent listening to the stories of these people who fill my life. Some more of the best times to be had are minutes of solitude to bask in the blessings of life. I'm married to a superhero who is a great, albeit intermittent, storyteller. It is good to belong with someone. I'm trying to learn how to be like Jesus, but I don't always study very hard.

Favorite music	Girl Twang when I'm feeling backroadsy; 80's pop when I want a fun flashback; Thrashing metal when I'm critiquing other drivers; Soaring instrumentals and foreign operas when I'm cleaning house; various other genres as my mood dictates
Favorite books	Anything by Mildred Walker; the Little House on the Prairie series; My Antonia;
