Introduction	My name is Jasmine Baulkman aka Mindy! After years of working in luxury hotels in Sales, Catering and Front Office, I decided to start my own cupcake business. My small cupcake company, Mindy Cakes allowed me to do what I am most passionate about...baking! I decided to take the 'min' from JasMINe and Mindy Cakes just stuck. I am passionate about baking and enjoy being creative but wanted to increase my skill set and explore the world of pastry arts. I have my Bachelors degree from Howard University in Communications with a focus in Advertising. This Fall I decide to focus on doing what I love most, I am acquiring my Associates degree in Baking and Pastry Art from Johnson & Wales University. My formal education has begun...I have the opportunity to absorb knowledge from prestigious Pastry Chefs and gain hands on experience.
