| Introduction | I am a doll lover with a passion. I love creating new dolls from cloth, in the past I have made numerous reproduction dolls from porcelain. I first learned to sew at age 5. I will never forget Ms Brown a neighbor who lived downstairs in our apt building back then. She was a seamstress and I would go visit and spend hours with her watching her sew and create gorgeous dresses and suits. She gave me my first lil sewing basket made out of a tin container shaped like a picnic basket. I thought it was the most gorgeous thing ever. By age 12 I was making my own clothes. I would make any and everything possible. Later on in years my ceramic teacher started teaching doll classes. I was so excited and it was the beginning of what I love so much today. |
