Introduction | A native Seattleite, I left the Northwest for culinary school and came back four years later with a Bachelor of Science degree in culinary nutrition from Johnson & Wales University. I am a chef at heart, not a health-crazed nutrition nut, but I do advocate a diet rich in whole grains, fruits, and vegetables. I appreciate natural, unprocessed foods (whether low calorie or not) and think that everything can be enjoyed in moderation. I like breakfast, dark chocolate, ripe peaches, and Manny’s Pale Ale. |
