| Introduction | I have lived in the Outlands always, and have been active since the first day of A.S. XII. I started in Shadowskeep and moved to al-Barran. My lord husband is Jarl Gunwaldt Gulbjorn. I am a Mistress of the Pelican and of the Laurel. I went many years trying to teach broadly without proteges or apprentices, thinking it better to help anyone with any interest in learning. As I got older my feelings changed, and I have had some excellent mentoring relationships with individuals of whom I am very fond and proud. I have written and collected the writings of others for many years, and am glad the internet gives an opportunity for one to open the filing cabinets up to a greater audience. For that reason, I have been putting things on my webpage (SandraDodd.com/sca) for the edification of any who have an interest in those SCA things I have loved in my life. |
| Interests | I love learning, and I love helping other people learn. My interests are music (ballads, partsongs, madrigals, instrumental), virtues, language, philosophy, ceremonies, Saxon culture and the neighbors at the time, humor, and the little things that can help create magic moments in the SCA. |
