| Favorite music | Little bit of everything, but I find myself listening to rock/alt rock mostly. Music is my life, well, besides my kids lol. I grew up in a household with a lot of 70's/80's rock being played, so that brings me back to my childhood, though my aunt got me into country, my uncle into metal, and my peers into pop and rap. I married a die hard Nirvana-nut though, so we mesh well with the rock/alt rock roots. Fav bands include: Flyleaf, Three Days Grace, Pearl Jam, Aerosmith and many many more. Again...keep reading :) |
| Favorite books | Not too much of a bookworm. My daughters have me read to them a lot, though its easing up as my 7 year old gets better and better at reading herself (she's been reading since 5 1/2). I loved the Harry Potter series. I know, grow up right? Never! I also loved Jenny McCarthy's "Laughs" series, as well as a handful of other books in my lifetime. Best "classic" is hands down Catcher in the Rye. yep, I'm all over the place. Been reading the Percy Jackson books recently, on Book 3. They're no Harry Potter, by any means, but they're by far light years better than the twilight books. Couldn't get past the first chapter-yay me! |
