| Introduction | Hello, fellow bookworms! My entire life I have been an avid reader and lover of all types of fiction, though primarily the focus of my affection has been the genres of Horror and Science Fiction, and their more cosmopolitan cousin, the Weird Tale. I found myself drawn to these stories because I believe that the works written within their respective fields often contain the most compelling, enriching and thought provoking literature amongst ALL of its many types. There are so many great selections out there, some great, some good, some not so much (and some a mixture of all three). This blog represents my thoughts, comments and opinions on different works I have encountered in the hopes that maybe I can share my own enthusiasm for what I consider to be a tragically underappreciated realm of writing as well as maybe, just maybe, helping someone out there find that most sought after of all literary gems, a great tale, unread, yet ready for discovery. |
