| Introduction | Foshoucha literally translates to "buddha's hand tea". The tea leaves are supposed to resemble the fruit of the finger citron tree, which are known colloquially as "buddha's hand fruit". This variety of tea was first cultivated in the Northern Song Dynasty (960-1127 AD). |
