| Introduction | The Mission Statement of the St George of Cappadocia - OSGC. We are an Interfaith/Ecumenic Franciscan Order, who strive to build a harmonious coexistence of Learning and work with all religions and religious denominations. We are all brothers and sister in God, and with that understand we strive to help all God Creations spiritually, psychologically and materially, many times trying not to be afraid to walk that extra mile. As Saint George and Saint Francis protected and helped the helpless and humble in their time, the Fraternity is committed to: • Try to leave in the people the joy that springs from the encounter with a person consecrated to God. • Who in his penance and humility knew how to be near to all, especially the simple, sharing with them the burden of manual work, the lay religious expresses his service toward the confreres, and at the same time contributes to a good community spirit. In direct contact with people, he embodies the sweetness, affability, and mercy, which characterized the human relationship of Saint. Francis. |
| Interests | 1 Practical Study and practice of Liturgical Cults and Rituals Catholics (Universal/Interfaith); 2 Practice of charity, moral, spiritual and material beneficence; 3 Study and research of the scientific, philosophical and historical aspect of the Catholic culture (Universal/Interfaith) as well its diffusion through courses, lectures and any other form that objectify the rescue of these traditions; 4 Diffusion between the associations, to establish greater bond of general solidarity, and fraternity among the family of the practitioners of the Catholicism or any another religious expression; 5 Creation of services to the community in the areas of sports, culture and education; 6 Theoretical and practical lessons for the study of the doctrine (catechism Catholic); 7 Short and long term religious retreats; 8 Lay pastoral counseling; 9 Rradio-communications and other media communications for education and religious nature; 10 Cenobitic (semi-cloistered) and semi-eremitic religious life; 11 Personal and public religious ceremonies and vows. |
