| Introduction | This is the story of a middle-aged, empty-nester American couple who set off to find adventure, health and happiness in Central and South America. During the dismal winter of 2010-2011, we decided that this would be our last winter in TN. Eventually, this vow morphed into a grand plan to step off the "Work-Buy-Consume-Die" treadmill, and try out a new "life paradigm". We know it's not anything new for people to ditch their mundane, "run-of-the-mill" lives to go off and find their bliss and explore distant places. Of course, it is new to us, and so we are keeping this blog mainly to memorialize our experiences, and to hopefully edify and entertain our followers! |
