Introduction	My name is Joel and I'm working my way through high school in Australia . Music has always been my first love, my most engrossing pass-time, so it is strange for me to branch out so into art; I find that time is scarce for most things these days. I am romantically involved with the cello and the piano (Paul Simon fans will now understand the joke behind this blog's naming) and with my pencil and paper and with my books; as a result, there are times when having so many lovers is tiring and I worry that I'm betraying them all to each other. This blog is my means of escaping from music into the world of art, which I so rarely broach, and a medium through which I can exploring my own styles and influences.
