Introduction	I was privileged to enjoy a monthly scrumptious luncheon with a small group of lovely, God-fearing women, mostly single - though I was married (and still am). It all started seven years ago, one Saturday after Thanksgiving when I brought home-made turkey soup. We became six gourmet women who valued spiritual growth and fellowship, meeting once a month on a Saturday afternoon over home-made meal with special theme. Each person signed up to bring something from the menu. The table was always set with lovely china and silverware, then it's cocktail, appetizer, main course with side dish, and dessert with coffee. As we enjoyed the meal we shared recent life events and closed it off with prayer requests to the Big Man upstairs. It was a great seven year ride that I will always treasure.
