| Introduction | Born in New York he graduated from Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York, BA 1971, and then MA 1974. His undergraduate and masters were in drama and television production. While in school at Hofstra he was a principal in DCB Productions and Miriam Carol Publishing companies. He owned and operated a recording studio and worked with numerous up and coming muscial artists. He was an arranger and composer as well as a producer and studio musician. He played guitar, bass guitar, flute, sax, keyboards and percussion. He was the featured lead guitarist in the Blackman Blues Band, and played in many other bands to put himself through college. He graduated law school in 1976 from San Francisco Law School and founded the Blackman Legal Group, which specializes in serious injury and wrongful death ligitation. He has tried numerous cases before juries and have multiple multi-million dollar results for clients. |
