| Introduction | We're a newly married couple who want to share our unique story with everyone. We met at a local punk show when we were 16 and 18. Through our love of music we became good friends, but it wasn't until college that we started dating. Two years later we got married and have been loving it for the past year. Our world is definitely different than most couples our age. Rachel has Cystic Fibrosis, a genetic disease that effects the lungs and digestive system. After dealing with the devastation of her lungs for 23 years, Rachel received the gift of a double lung transplant early this year. CF still affects her body in other ways, and the new lungs require immense amounts of work, but it's worth it. Our faith in God is what gets us through everything and keeps us going...
