Introduction	I am an artist. If you don’t believe me, the company I work for listed me as one, so therefore, I am now an official artist. I have to laugh about that because I’ve always felt too insecure to call myself one since I am self-taught. Because of that I’ve been perfectly content being called a crafter. I like being a crafter and the dictionary says that “a crafter is someone who’s profession or activity involves the skillful making of decorative objects”. Wow, that’s me. I love to make decorative objects (for the holidays especially). Of course, now that I have my artisan title, I had to see what the dictionary said about that. An artist is “somebody who creates art, especially paintings or sculptures”. Okay, I do painting and sculpting so I guess it’s okay to have that title too. Now I can be happy with both titles and live my lifelong dream.
