About me

Location Georgia, United States
Introduction I have been interested in woodworking since the mid 60's, as both a semi-professional and a hobbyist. In 2007, while searching for a cabinet saw to replace my contractors saw, I discovered EurekaZone and the Dead Wood Concept. I was intrigued and purchased a 100” track to give it a try. I haven't looked back. I still use my old contractors saw, but not for much. Not only do I use everything that EZ makes, but I have become involved in EZ, making SketchUp models, managing a forum related to track saws, making animated videos of the tools, and aiding in the development of new tools Since my first PC clone, I have used various CAD programs to design what I want to build. I have begun to use Google SketchUp exclusively for design work and have also become interested in making animated videos using SketchUp and Sony Vegas Movie Studio. In 1994 we bought a house that was in need of lots of work. Since retiring in 2006, the house has become my major source of work. I am always either planning what needs to be done, doing it, or supervising it getting done. I started blogging to share what I know, what I have done and what I am doing. I hope you enjoy.
