| Introduction | I first became interested in wargaming in the mid 70's when I found Donald Featherstone's books in the local library. I started with WRG Ancients at the Farnborough Wargames Society and then Napoleonic's and the Seven years War with various rules. I gained a taste for large battles from Peter Guilder's Wargame Holiday centre and the 24hr and weekend games on a huge scale with 10-20 players run by the FWS. Recently I have been able to get back into more regular table top gaming both with friends and at the Wargames Holiday Centre. My interests these days are 15mm To the Strongest Ancients, Black Powder 6mm SYW and 15mm Napoleonic's. I remain a fan of campaigns and big battles. |
