| Introduction | I am an avid reader, typically reading 800 to 900 books each year. I taught English/language arts in the public schools of New Orleans for 25 years before Hurricane Katrina destroyed the schools where I worked. Currently, I teach literacy courses,children's literature and young adult literature courses at Washington State University. I love my job and my students. |
