| Introduction | Where to start? I retired from Boeing, where I was a Technical Illustrator and then a Technical Designer. Since retirement, I've been busy rekindling my creative fire. I feel like a kid in a candy shop. There are so many things I want to try, and my to-do list keeps getting longer. Things are so exciting now, the "rules" are being broken, I can color outside the lines. I feel so much more free than I did in my younger days. I guess there are some benefits of growing older! I have a studio in my home where I spend time sewing, quilting, drawing, painting, embroidering, creating - whatever medium I'm playing with at the moment. Sometimes I even get paid for my work/play. That's a pretty good way to spend my days! I also have a corner of my studio set up for my young granddaughter, who spends her time doing the same things I do! I love passing on this gift to her. Family life is important to me as well, so I try to balance my time between the two. I have a very supportive husband, and two wonderful grown children. I am blessed. |
