| Introduction | The Educational Video Center is a non-profit youth media organization dedicated to teaching documentary video as a means to develop the artistic, critical literacy, and career skills of young people, while nurturing their idealism and commitment to social change. YO-TV is a ten-month pre-professional paid internship that provides an opportunity for the most talented graduates from EVC's High School Documentary Workshop to work as paid interns producing a documentary for a professional client. Through this program, YO-TV members develop skills, contacts, and the confidence to bridge their transition between student life and the professional workplace. |
