Introduction	Santa Clarita boasts a few passionate and brilliant local historians who can tell you everything about gold, cowboys, Newhall, oil, journalism, disasters, transportation, culture, and the like through history. I am not one of these. I have, however, been alive for all of Santa Clarita's 25 years of cityhood and I have been in her sweet embrace for most of them. Thus, I started this short-term blog to commemorate the past 25 years and to build hype for the profoundly under-hyped 25th Anniversary of Cityhood. When it comes to Santa Clarita's recent history, a lot of people are unaware or just don't care, but me, I heart SC history.
