| Introduction | Every year, HELP International volunteers are trained, prepared, and sent out to live in a foreign country where they learn about local responses to poverty and help support locally run organizations and initiatives. It's a philosophy based on self-determination, development, and empowerment that is training a new generation to live in a world void of poverty. |
| Interests | This is our third year in Uganda. Our volunteers will continue with programs that were established last summer and begin some new programs as well. Our projects include: teaching English and basic business concepts, teaching AIDS awareness, working in orphanages, and estabilshing partnerships with local NGOs. |
