About me

Introduction Hello, I am Catrina Stewart, a long-time resident of Cobb County. This is my eleventh year working for the Cobb County School District and my eighth year teaching fourth grade at Addison. I have a Master of Arts in Teaching and a Specialist in Early Childhood Education, both from Mercer University. My undergraduate is in business/marketing from Georgia State. I am Math and Gifted Endorsed. I have four children. My oldest son is married and recently received his Pharmacy Doctorate from UGA. His daughter, my first grandchild, was born this August. My middle son has a Master's of Art in Communication from UGA and works for Emory running programs for the Atlanta Urban Debate League. My youngest son, who is recently married, is a solider in computer technology in the Army. My daughter is a freshman at Georgia State University studying applied linguistics and ASL. I love to travel and have been to the Caribbean, Italy, France, and Spain. I even taught third grade in Africa as part of Mercer on Mission. Other hobbies include reading, visiting public parks, playing trivia, and time with family and friends. I LOVE children and learning, so teaching is the job for me!
