Introduction	Joe and I were married in a beautiful ceremony by sunset on November 10, 2006. Just 10 short months later, we had our son! Carter Joseph was born 09.08.07 at home, as planned. He has brought so much joy to our lives and we love to share his activities, milestones and pictures with those we love. My life has been consumed with constant research since I started nursing school. First it was just labor and delivery, specifially natural birth. Then when I became pregnant...my world expanded. My interests now include homebirth, waterbirth, breastfeeding, cloth-diapering, doing my part to stop genital mutilation (aka circumcision), keeping Carter safe - food, toys, healthcare, etc., gentle discipline and attachment parenting. I still have so much to learn.
