| Introduction | Life has been an amazing adventure so far. Not all of it fun, but definitely not dull. I was born in Melbourne, grew up in Indonesia and returned to Australia during my latter teen years. After completing a degree in Development Studies I lived and worked in several remote communities in the far north of Australia and Papua New Guinea (PNG). I now live in Cairns, Australia with my handsome husband. We have two young boys who not only keep us on our toes but also stretch us in the most incredible ways. I love writing, visiting different countries and tasting their food, reading, reading, reading, swimming, rain, butterflies, teaching my boys to read and catching up with friends over de-caf coffee (I know!) and French pastries. My passion is to use this gift to write stories of hope and to inspire courage. I am a freelance writer. I write novels, short stories, reflective prose and poems. The first children’s book that I wrote and illustrated was in grade three. My teacher even bound it for me. It was brilliant! Over the last seven years I have once again taken up the pen to focus and develop my writing. |
