| Introduction | I am a wife and a mom to 3 grown children, and grandma to three precious little girls. I am the President and co-founder of a non-profit organization called Orphan Relief and Rescue. Along with my husband of twenty-seven years we have invested more than 17 years in mission work in both Central America and West Africa. We lived in Benin and Liberia, West Africa with our three children for 2 years. This is where the plight of the orphans in Africa became extremely evident. Many orphan children we encountered would be dead today if we did not intervene. I specializes in the restructuring of orphanages with a focus on self-sustainable solutions. I also work to educate and empower people to end abuse and child trafficking, and to stand up for the defenseless. Inspiring people to action on behalf of the hurting around the world, I am equally passionate about challenging others to walk closely to God and to walk in partnership with Him. I have spoken to a variety of audiences and In the writing world I have written numerous articles for newspapers, and have recently published a book called “Inspired to Action, How following the promptings of your heart can change the world. |
