| Introduction | The Lilac Lobster blog came about from a few of my favorite things. My Me-mere, the sweetest, classiest, most giving woman I have ever known, loved lilacs (which also happened to grow in her yard). After her passing, they often make me think of her. Lilacs are a classic flower with a sweet, sweet smell that I can't get enough of. I can't quite remember when my love of lobsters came about, but I know that it has never wavered. It brings me back to my family's yearly vacation with friends who I've grown up with on the beach, for two weeks each year, every summer since I was born. Lobsters also make me think of the sea, which is both pure and beautiful, bringing peace and calming to everyone who is near. Lilacs and lobsters embody much of what I strive for in my life and home. My life is full of adventure, but I strive to attain tranquility, class, and the love of friends and family around me. |
