| Introduction | When we are not busy helping Bellman plan his next trip, we enjoy learning new things and taking care of our families. We are a mother-daughter author team, and we are very excited to introduce the Bellman Bear Book Series to you. We hope that Bellman's books will be a valuable tool for you to use as you teach your children about the United States and the world. Our series is ideally suited for Preschool-3rd grade. It introduces children to the United States and the World..one state and one country at a time! Brenda, an elementary school teacher for 29 years, often used teddy bears to teach important lessons in her classroom. Now Bellman helps her continue to teach children through his traveling adventures. Her daughter, Brantley, feels like the world becomes a better place when we take the time to walk in another person's shoes. Bellman's books allow children to do just that by introducing them to places and cultures that are different from their own.
