Introduction Hello.
Interests I could say the out door life but to me that conjures up pictures of someone trudging around in ridiculously bright coloured clothing scaring all the animals away, getting sore feet, moaning about the weather(something we have had for a long time, that weather) when discomfort is only ever due to bad preparation and lack of experience. For me The Nature is a way of life, if you took me out of the trees for to long in one hit, I'd be ruined. I love the water too, I have a canoe similar to those the traders and trappers of Canada used to use, I'm quite often pottering about on the river Thames (Isis), nature again. Surfing is another passion of mine although I don't get to do as much as I did, soon to be rectified mind you. Writing is probably my greatest love, I write mostly poetry but I'm currently working on a novel. I have written fouteen books of poetry, 'The Poet Tree' and 'Temples of the painted mind' both of which can be found on amazon.com in both kindle format and paperback. I like looking for things to spark my interests as well, there is always something new to see and learn, to write all that I'm interested in would end up like an encyclopedia so I shall leave it here for now.
Favorite Movies Cool hands Luke, Apocalypse Now, The Quiet Man, Rabbit Proof fence, The Whale Rider, Once Were Warriors, Paul, Dances With Wolves, Romeo and juliet, Rob Roy, The Gathering Storm, Good night Mr.Tom .....................
Favorite Music That's hard to say, as long as music has an element of originality and stirs the emotions, gets you moving, makes you think or all of these things at once then I pretty much like it. Lately I've been listening to Bob Dylan, The Brothers Johnson, Jimmi Hendrix, The Band, Creedence Clearwater Revival, John Tamms, Mumford and sons, Queens of the stoneage, Pearljam, Soundgarden, Temple of the dog, and any blues I've come across that has grabbed my ear and said, "Dude, check it out".
Favorite Books The Wind In the Willows, The Old Man And The Sea, A Moveable Feast, Sailing Alone Around The World, As I stepped Out One Midsummer Morning, The Hobbit, The Lord Of The Rings, Out Of Africa, The count of Monte Christoe, Robinson Crusoe, The Coming Of The King, About 80% of Shakespeare's works, and about 1000 more on my shelves and at least 10, 000 more I have not read yet, plus some old bits and pieces it would be to hard to translate here into modern English.

Would you try something new everyday for you or everyday listen to what others tell you is new to them?
