| Introduction | When I was a little girl, my beloved Uncle took me aside and told me that I have a gift. He urged me to be a writer and said he was excited to read my first book. Since then many kind people have encouraged my writing - of cards, letters, poetry, songs, even FB posts. I took note but there always seemed to be other goals to achieve, work to do and places to be. This month I am turning 60. As I have pondered and prayed about where I am being invited to grow, I sense that this is the time to put words on the deeper stirrings within me. Last month I visited my Uncle. He is now in his 80's and living a couple of States away from me. I told him of my plans to begin this FB blog. He hugged me tightly and exclaimed, "Finally!" I feel I have his overwhelming blessing. Let the journey begin.... |
