| Introduction | In February 2006, my wife (then girlfriend) and I bought two 2 bedroom, 1 bath homes in Morris Township. We in one day became first-time homeowners and landlords. From the start, we did a lot wrong and did a few things right. Regardless, here we are a year later still all in one piece, happily married and no longer living in sin. Even with the stress and all the rest, we are happy we did it. With a few books and a year working with an accountant, a lawyer, an agent and tenants under my belt, I have learned a lot but there is much more to learn. |
