Introduction	On the other side of 50, I live in the Pacific Northwest with my husband and our two nutty labs, Max and Molly. Politically, I'm proud to be a liberal, for though I am all for fiscal responsibility and accountibility, I also believe that a society is judged by how it treats its young, old and infirm.
