Introduction	Thank you for visiting my blog. Many of you may be wondering why it is called the Purple Ranch Daily Devotional. My parents own a lavender farm just east of Dallas and it has become a passion of mine. The farm was started about a year after I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in 2005. I currently have been diagnosed with a re-occurrence of ovarian cancer so my journey continues. The peace I find at the farm brings me closer to the One who created me. I pray that you will be blessed by the blog and will return frequently.
