| Introduction | I am a wife and mother and member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints living in northern Virginia. My husband is a retired Air Force officer, my children range in age from 35 to 13 (there are eight of them), and my family and church are and always have been, the focus of my life. In recent years, I have taken on the role of student also, as I began a program with Brigham Young University to finish my Bachelor's Degree through Independent Study and on-campus classes during summer terms. My emphasis is English and American Literature (as is evident from my "Favorite Books" list.) One of my as yet unfulfilled dreams is to travel with my husband Val to Greece, Italy, France, and England. When the children are grown (we still have two at home), we hope to serve a mission or two for the Church. Maybe that will take us to some of the places I'd like to go! |
