| Introduction | I am a proud mother of two small boys and a lucky wife to a truly special man. I am blessed with a loving sister, wonderful in-laws, and compassionate friends and colleagues. My father passed away unexpectedly when I was 28 and my mom was diagnosed with cancer the following month and passed away 18 months later. My parents were truly amazing. This blog is in honor of them. My mother was the best cook, crafter, gardener, seamstress, mother, grandmother, wife, and my best friend. I feel so blessed and truly lucky that she was my mother. All of her friends knew her for her humor, amazing cooking, and crafts. I wanted to make a cookbook of her recipes but decided I would never finish it as there were just too many. I figured a blog that I could work on intermittently would be the quickest way to share her love of cooking and gift of entertaining with those that loved her. |
