Introduction	Gary Smith was born and raised in southwest Ohio. His interests are wide-ranging, and include outdoor adventure, art and literature, and travel. He is the published author of several technical articles for the Information Technology industry, as well as fiction novels and a volume of poetry. Gary has lived in Ohio, California, and Arizona. He has traveled the Pacific Rim, visiting locales from Tokyo to Singapore, and Hawaii. He now resides in South Carolina.
