Introduction	I'm the former television and media critic for the Kansas City Star. And yes, I've been on Blogger since 2000. That was back when I kept one of the first TV news blogs, TV Barn. Before that I did a weekly email with news from the late night talk show circuit called Late Show News. I quit journalism in 2012 to go into writing and publishing full time. Along with my wife Diane Eickhoff, we run Quindaro Press. I'm a master gardener and run a community garden at my church. I've got four grandkids! The older I get, the more I feel the need to think and act like a child. Funny how that is.
