| Introduction | Anni has drawn and painted for as long as she can remember. Her mother, a commercial artist, was her first teacher. Growing up she was always given the opportunity and encouragement to create. Colour means everything to her and inspiration comes from many sources e.g. words in a song, whimsical thoughts, animals or a dream. Anni hopes her art raises the spirit and sometimes makes people smile. Her art has sold within New Zealand and overseas. She studied Design at Otago University and majored in Art at Dunedin College of Education. Born near London, she has now made New Zealand her home, where she lives with her partner and three children. |
