| Introduction | John is originally from Chicago and traveled throughout the western US after college. He always intended to relocate somewhere there in the future. He and Jean met in her hometown of Louisville Kentucky and in the fall of 1977 they packed up a few belongings, left family and friends behind and headed for Seattle. We have both always loved the outdoors and living in the Pacific Northwest provided us with numerous opportunities to hike and backpack as well as for John, an avid photographer, to take countless photographs. Our sons are grown and we're retired so in April 2010 we began living our long held dream of becoming “nomads”. For the next 10 years or so we plan to live full time in our 27' motor home and backpack in as many of the world's most beautiful places as we can...at least as long as our knees and our money lasts! |
