Favorite Food: Pizza and Ice Cream (very American) Favorite Color: Black (although black is not technically a color, it is a state in which there is no visible light...) Favorite Sport: Gymnastics Favorite things to do: Read, write, color (childish, I know), watch movies/tv shows, eat, listen to music, daydream Favorite Holiday: Halloween! Instuments I play: The guitar, piano/keyboards, harmonica, and flute (the flute is sooo not me...I played it in band when I was in school, but only because I could get my hands on a free one.) Note that, just because I can play these instruments, doesn't mean I'm any good at them. Because I'm not. I also sing. Interests	Things I like: Thunderstorms, autumn, goth clothes, Disneyland, my sister's drawings (she's an amazing artist), poetry, my Jeep, shrinky dinks, school (I know, weird, right?), photography, going to museums, New York City, haunted houses, Youtube, computers, iPods, monkeys, cell phones, flare-leg jeans, shopping (though I typically don't spend much), my favorite "My Chemical Romance" jacket, black eyeliner, pumpkins, flash drives, Microsoft Word. Things I don't like: When people don't use their turn signals, our youth-obsessed culture (why can't growing old be cool? I mean, that's what everybody's doing; we may as well accept it and respect old people or something), video games (because people throw their lives away playing them), math, girly things, the color pink, when people purposely make other people feel bad, when people don't treat people the way they want to be treated, having to share a car with my husband, cleaning, my glasses (I miss my contacts so much...I can't wait until I can finally get new ones. Things I am afraid of: Spiders, becoming paralyzed, wrecking my car, hitting a pedestrian with my car, becoming permanently and horribly disfigured, the Apocalypse.
Favorite movies	I like a lot of movies. To list them off would take forever. A few include: all of the Beatles movies (A Hard Day's Night, Help, Magical Mystery Tour, documentaries, etc), Empire Records, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, The Boondock Saints, Talladega (spelled correctly?) Nights, Mel Brooks films (including, but not limited to, Young Frankenstein, Spaceballs, Robin Hood Men in Tights, etc), Airplane, Interview with the Vampire, the Thumb Movies (such as the Thumb Wars and The Blair Thumb), America's Sweethearts, Queen of teh Damned, Happy Gilmore, old Disney cartoons, and millions more... Favorite TV Shows: Monty Python's Flying Circus, Saturday Night Live, That 70's Show, South Park, Family Guy, Robot Chicken, Drawn Together, Danny Phantom, Spongebob Squarepants, Ghost Hunters, Supernatural, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, old school Nickelodeon shows from the 90s, and anything on the History Channel.
Favorite music	In the immortal words of Joan Jett, "I love rock and roll." That includes the classic, alternative, Christian, punk, and metal brands of the genre. My number one favorite band is the Beatles. I also like (prepare for a long list): Billy Joel, Boston, Chicago, CCR, The Doobie Brothers, The Eagles, ELO, Eric Clapton, Foreigner, Huey Lewis and the News, James Taylor, Journey, Kansas, Led Zeppelin, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Pink Floyd, Queen, The Steve Miller Band, Styx, Three Dog Night, Van Halen, Barenaked Ladies, Blink 182, Fall Out Boy, Flogging Molly, Green Day, Jimmy Eat World, John Mayer, The Killers, Linkin Park, My Chemical Romance, Nine Inch Nails, Papa Roach, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Reliant K, Skillet, Theory of a Deadman, Unwritten Law, The Used, The White Stripes, Breaking Benjamin, Disturbed, Metallica, Rob Zombie, Staind, Evanescence, Finger Eleven, Foo Fighters, Goo Goo Dolls, Jet, Matchbox Twenty, Nickelback, Three Doors Down, and Weezer. etc etc etc.
Favorite books	I like lots of books. Number One would have to be the Bible. After that, they include but are not limited to: The Inferno (Dante), Shakespeare plays (as an English major, I am required to say that), anything by Edgar Allen Poe, The Brothers Karamazov by Fyodor Dostoyevsky, The Giver (Lois Lowry), Pet Semetary (Stephen King), Roald Dahl books, Speak (Laurie Halsey Anderson), What's Eating Gilbert Grape (Peter Hedges), Pitch Black (Melody Carlson), Saying It Out Loud (Joan Abelove), Girl, Interrupted by Susanna Kaysen, and lots and lots of others.
