Introduction	Family and friends are everything; music just serves to join the dots.
Interests	Music is obviously one and that is pretty much what the blog is about. I'll admit to having a fair collection of '70s and early '80s heavy rock/metal, mostly on original vinyl. On the flip side, I like a lot of folk too, both new and traditional, and more than a few other genres. Beyond that I like many outdoor activities,industrial and social history (especially that concerning railways, ancient and modern). Now just don't you wish you had never asked!
Favorite movies	Carry On Up The Khyber(1968),The Titfield Thunderbolt(1953),Night Mail(1936).
Favorite music	From heavy rock to... Well, vide surpra and also my blog for more than a few hints!
Favorite books	Usually factual ones. The kind that most others have never heard of and if they had probably wouldn't want to read anyway... Alice In Wonderland,Through The Looking Glass,Red For Danger Also ones that are pseudo factual - 1066 And All That (1930) - being top of that list and, although it probably ensured that I didn't take O-level history, it instilled an abiding interest in the kind of history that,less traditional, is far more interesting!

You're in the grocery store with a broken cart. How will you ever be that hungry?

Who needs a cart anyway? I'd just shop locally and carry it in (reusable) bags or a back-pack.
