| Introduction | We're a young at heart couple who have recently embraced "Freedom 55". We live in the city of Kingston, Ontario (Canada) and as empty nesters, we strive to regain some of our adolescent freedom. As baby boomers, we saw the American hamburger craze infiltrate Canada via roadside diners and A&W. We enjoy those triggers that tickle our senses and bring us back to those days when we were so idealistic and naive. Growing up in that era (and considering ourselves pretty cool), music (mostly rock) was and continues to be an integral part of our life. In our "band", Stephen plays drums and Jo sings lead vocals (& rhythm guitar) along with our friends (Randy on lead guitar & Jeff on bass). This spring (2011), Jo will be heading over to China for a consulting opportunity. Stephen will join her later but will keep up the "best burger" reviews. In the meantime, Jo will be updating a new blog, "mychinadiaries.blogspot.com". Should be an interesting journey for both of us.... Hope you join us! |
