| Introduction | If you'd like to know about me, the best way to learn is to read my blogs. I decided to start writing after I realized I was talking to myself. I hail from Grand Rapids, Michigan, and despite despising winter, I love Michigan more than anyplace I've ever lived (even a little more than London). I work for a somewhat well known university in South Bend. I have a dog--and he takes up most of my time. I'm trying to grow my own vegetables because I hate paying $1.99 for a bell pepper when I can buy a whole pack of seeds for less than that. But I don't think I'm gardening material. When I grow up I want to run a dog daycare place (not a boarding kennel...I want a big open place with a pool). I am an avid (but not very good) golfer, I like to hike with the dog, either in the woods or on the beach, I love swimming and reading and relaxing in the summer sun (using appropriate sunscreen of course). I love traveling, especially to Europe and throughout my home state of Michigan. I enjoy really nice red wines and single malt whiskies, none of which I can afford. I love to try interesting foods and visiting interesting and unique restaurants. Other than that, I'm quite normal. |
