Introduction | Time to update my profile yet again. I have FINISHED my Dear Jane Quilt Top. Our Sit 'n Stitch group helped me pin baste it last week, and now i'm machine basting with wash away thread in a grid pattern. I am DETERMINED to machine quilt this myself and get it into our guild show a year from next september. Civil War focus is growing in our neck of the woods. I'm teaching classes at Tiger Lily, our local quilt shop, and we have a twice monthly sit 'n stitch going at the shop. Still retired, still loving it, and big time into 1800's history and projects. I'm thinking of trying to do a virtual class with a new Siggy acquaintance, Gerry, from France. She has no quilt guild in her area, so maybe we can set up a virtual Sit 'n Stitch, or class to share. In the meantime, I continue to take great pleasure in merging the 1800's with 21st century technology. |
