Introduction	I am the coordinator of the outdoor classroom at Avon Montessori School. I created this blog to share our goal of taking learning outdoors. I hope it will inspire families and teachers to get outside with their kids. I would love for readers to share ideas as well.
Interests	I have a M.Ed.in elementary education from Ohio State. I have taught for Columbus and Cleveland public schools. I grew up in the suburbs, but my grandparents lived on a farm complete with fields to wonder, woods to explore, haylofts to jump in and animals to pet. I wanted my child to have some of this. She is the inspiration for my work. This schoolyard truely is my bliss, and everyday I feel blessed as I watch my daughter and her classmates explore and play out in nature as it should be.
