| Introduction | My name is Taegan Sage, and I'm 7 years old. I was born 2 months early. I have cerebral palsy/spastic diplegia, periventricular leukomalacia (PVL),autism, duplication of 8p23.3 and possible mitochondrial disorders. I work very hard in all of my therapies. I have Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy & Speech Therapy each 2x/wk.I enjoy Hippotherapy, Craniosacral Therapy, & Music Therapy 1x/wk.I also swim on Sunday evenings.I keep my mommy pretty busy!My daddy works 2 jobs just to make ends meet, but often we come up short because therapies and medical bills are so expensive. Mommy hasn't been able to return to work yet either because she's so busy making sure I get to all my doctors appointments and making sure I get all the therapies I need. My mommy is organizing several fund raising events so that I can receive hyperbaric oxygen treatments and biomedical interventions that are helping many autistic individuals.
