How it Began
| Introduction | Kevin and I grew up thousands of miles apart and kept up that distance and then some when we started dating. Faith and love bridged the distance. Kevin grew up in New York and played baseball at West Point. I grew up in Texas, went to Baylor and followed a career in Medicine. Our paths collided in Austin, TX. We started dating, then 9/11 happened and our lives changed. Kevin deployed for the better part of 2 years to Kuwait and Korea. We married in 2003. 4 or 5 moves later we landed in Richmond, Virginia where we added the best addition to our lives-lil Kate. Kate is living proof that God made Kevin for me. If I hadn't fell in love with that boy in the Austin bar, the most precious thing in this world wouldn't exist. Kate is our joy! God is so good. I wouldn't be complete without mentioning our two furry kiddos, Reb and Hud. They are our joy too. |
