| Introduction | Having grown up in the Peak District, It is no surprise that James made a name for himself on God's own rock. Aged 15, he donned his first pair of rock boots and quickly started climbing some of Gritstone's hardest, and boldest routes with unwavering enthusiasm and an innate ability of moving with the rock. By the age of 19, James was one of the UK’s brightest talents and had proved he could hold his own on all rock types with a spectacular array of hard ascents in Europe and America. He is currently sponsored by The North Face, Wild Country and Five Ten and continues his quest to climb hard rock, all over the world. James' fervor and passion for climbing will inspire you. His ability to notice the fine points in movement and translate that into useful teachings is outstanding. He will work with you as an individual in order to maximize your strengths and more importantly, improve your weaknesses. His teaching is not ‘muscle based’; instead he will help you unlock techniques that will allow you to climb in the most efficient possible way. He will redirect your thinking in climbing and open new doors of opportunity leading to dramatic improvements both physically and mentally. |
