Introduction	There are many people out there that consider themselves to be audio engineers but I am what you would refer to as a, “real audio engineer”. This means that I have the drive and creative ambition to succeed in the world of audio. I do not simply watch youtube videos and try to create what others have already accomplished. Instead I put in the time, effort, and passion it takes to truly be a great sound engineer. My passion as an engineer is mixing. There is no better feeling to me than sitting in a quite room and having complete control over a song to add the dynamics to it that it needs to really flow and take the listener on a journey. See as an engineer it is my job to give the music life so that the listener can feel the emotion behind the song. Music is one of those things that is universal no matter what language you speak everyone can hear a song and feel something because of that song. That is a gratifying feeling to a sound engineer because music is just flat when it’s recorded no matter how well it was recorded it’s still lacking that little element to make it really pop. The artist creates the music but I shape it.
